when was the last time we actually got in game screenshots or videos. Feels like years have gone by and all we see are blogposts and drawn artwork once or twice a year. so frustrating. If we eventually get a game I'll be happy, but this whole thing reeks of development hell, and vaporware.

Kids that were hyped up by Hytale almost an adults now. Is new gen of players will be interested in this game? We'll see

Wow I've been watching this game for a while now and at least I can *PLAY* Star Citizen instead of being taunted with "gameplay" clips. It's a shame too because I really wanted to play this with friends

Just wanted to come with a slight correction :) You said unity and unreal use ECS. While I can't speak on unreal engine, I would just like to say that unity does have ECS, but the main way of coding in unity still follows the regular old Object Oriented pattern. ECS for the win though!

I think personally that hytale community is the most patient community I've ever seen and....not to mention if this game gets to release it would definitely find a way in game of the year .....for 100 percent

Unity have an ECS as part of their data-orient stack, but Unreal Engine has none. Unreal Engine have Actor-Component design, but their components are objects and Actors are objects too. It's not an ECS, it's just a hierarchy of objects.

I know this is not a must, but hopefully they will enable an RTX option like Minecraft to make it look much better without affecting the pixel art textures.

I love competition, though they seem to be focused on RPG and MC is a sandbox at heart, only good things can come from this as a player
